How StreamPaid works
Fans launch coins for Twitch streamers on pump.fun (Solana). Creator fees from every trade go into a vault for the chosen streamer. The streamer logs in with Twitch, connects a wallet and claims. After that, their fees are paid out to them automatically.
Overview
- Fans launch. Paste a Twitch channel, clip or VOD, pick a name and ticker, and sign one transaction. The coin launches on pump.fun with the streamer's vault as its on-chain creator.
- Every trade fills the vault. pump.fun pays a creator fee on every buy and sell to the coin's creator, which is the streamer's vault.
- Streamers claim. They log in with Twitch, connect a Solana wallet and sign. We pay out the vault, and from then on new fees are paid out to their wallet automatically.
Twitch sources
All of these resolve to the streamer behind them:
- Channel:
shroudortwitch.tv/shroud. If they're live when you launch, the coin is tagged as launched live. - Clip:
clips.twitch.tv/…ortwitch.tv/name/clip/…. Uses the clip's thumbnail and embeds the clip on the coin page. Fees go to the channel the clip is from. - VOD:
twitch.tv/videos/…. Embeds the VOD. Fees go to the channel that streamed it.
We store Twitch's numeric user ID, not the name. Names can change; the ID can't, so fees always reach the right person.
Fees and vaults
- Launching costs about 0.012 SOL for the accounts pump.fun creates, plus a tiny network fee. An optional first buy goes in the same transaction.
- Every trade pays pump.fun's trading fee. Part of it is the creator fee, which pump.fun pays to the coin's creator: the streamer's vault.
- Each streamer has a vault: a Solana address derived from their Twitch user ID. It is set as the creator of every coin fans launch for them, so their creator fees collect there. StreamPaid holds the vault's key and keeps the fees for the streamer until they claim. The person who launched the coin can't take them.
- When fees are paid out of a vault, 80% goes to the streamer and 20% to StreamPaid for running vaults, collecting fees and paying network fees. Collecting, paying the streamer and the platform share all happen in one transaction.
Logging in and claiming
- Go to Claim and press Log in with Twitch. Twitch asks you to approve; we request no permissions beyond your public identity and drop the Twitch token straight away.
- Your dashboard shows what's waiting in your vault and every coin fans launched for you.
- Connect the Solana wallet you want to be paid in and sign a free message. No transaction, no fees.
- We pay out the vault to that wallet. Every payout is public on the Payouts page with its transaction.
After claiming
- Every few minutes, new creator fees from your coins are collected and paid out to your wallet automatically. You can also pay out on demand from your dashboard.
- You can log in again and link a different wallet. Future payouts go to the new one.
Safety
- StreamPaid never asks for a seed phrase or private key. Every launch and trade is a transaction your wallet shows you first.
- Check the coin address and its creator (the streamer's vault) before buying.
- A coin named after a streamer doesn't mean they launched or endorse it. Only a Claimed tag means they logged in and linked a wallet.
FAQ
Does the streamer need to do anything for fans to launch a coin?+
No. Anyone can launch a coin for any Twitch channel. The fees wait in that streamer's vault until they decide to claim.
Can the person who launched a coin take the fees?+
No. On pump.fun, creator fees go to the coin's on-chain creator, and for every coin launched here that's the streamer's vault, set when the coin is created. The fan who launched it is just the first buyer.
What if the streamer changes their Twitch name?+
Vaults are tied to Twitch's permanent numeric user ID, not the name. A rename changes nothing.
Do unclaimed fees expire?+
No. They wait in the vault for as long as it takes.
Which chain and currency?+
Solana. Coins launch and trade on pump.fun, and fees and payouts are in SOL. Any Solana wallet works: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and others.
Is this affiliated with Twitch or pump.fun?+
No. StreamPaid is independent. We use Twitch's public API to look up channels and Twitch's standard login so streamers can prove who they are, and pump.fun's public program to launch and trade coins.
Streamer opt out
A streamer can ask us to hide their page and stop new launches through StreamPaid. Coins already on-chain can't be deleted, and fees already earned stay claimable.
StreamPaid is independent and not affiliated with Twitch or pump.fun. Coins are experimental and can lose all value.
